Hi,
I am running SFU 3.0 on a Solaris 8 machine to synchronise passwords
between MS domain and NIS.
It works if you change a password on the sun machine, the Windows PW is also
changed.
But if I change it on the windows machine the Sun/NIS password is not changed.
It tries to change the password through PAM. No errors are reported, but a
message of "passwd: Password information unchanged" is returned.
It is a recently patched system, the main patches for this application are
108993-26 for libpam
and
111596-02 for yppasswdd
when patch 108993-22 was installed, the ssod process used to crash.
Anyone use SFU 3.0, and have a solution to this problem?
