netra t4

dear all,

a friend of mine has a netra t4, would like to have some OS on
it, but he cannot remember anymore what LOM card settings he made.

of course netra t4, no VGA card, no keyboard.

as far as he remembers, he had solaris 9 running on it.

If I connect from a linux box (minicom) from the serial port to the LOM card,
by poweron I get the following:

CPU: 0000.0000.0000.0000AFSR: 0008.8004.0000.0000AFAR: 0000.0000.5eff.e000.
CPU: 0000.0000.0000.0000AFSR: 0008.8004.0000.0000AFAR: 0000.0000.5eff.e000.
CPU: 0000.0000.0000.0000AFSR: 0008.8004.0000.0000AFAR: 0000.0000.5eff.e000.
CPU: 0000.0000.0000.0000AFSR: 0008.8004.0000.0000AFAR: 0000.0000.5eff.e000.
[...]

this in an infonite loop.

no idea, if the net is configured and how.
I would like to reainstall the box, but the first step to this is of course
getting a console on it.

on the linuxbox I have the following minicom settings:

x A - Serial Device : /dev/ttyS0 x
x B - Lockfile Location : /var/lock x
x C - Callin Program : x
x D - Callout Program : x
x E - Bps/Par/Bits : 9600 8N1 x
x F - Hardware Flow Control : No x
x G - Software Flow Control : No

at least from the LOM comes some info, AFAIR the LOM can give me console
as well, just don't know how. It can be as well, that the owner of
the netras did couple of woodoo experiments with it, and redirected
the in- and output of the LOM/seriel port.

Connecting my linux desktops serialport to the port A on the netra,
I get no reaction in the minicom.

Q: How do I get a console to this box?
Can I reset some default to have serial console?

any ideas are welcome && tia
