hi all..

i have a problem with a system v240 (with monitor,keyboard and mouse).
before this everything work fine but after a power trip this problem accurs.

when tried to boot up to multiuser a msg box prompt out with a msg "login
incorrect" before we manage to enter any input. click ok button can help
nothing because the msg box will not vanished (like looping).

try boot to single user mode and enter root password everything work fine.
mv /etc/rc2.d/S99dtlogin /etc/rc2.d/s99dtlogin to start without CDE.

enter multiuser and this messages came out.
" <hostname> console login: "
but after enter username the same messages came out.. no password request.

go to single user rm /.dt , enable back S99dtlogin still same problem
accurs.

double check permission in /var/adm/utmpx , some of the important file in
this directory has been change to other username. i change the ownership
back according to other system. but the same thing still happen.

i suspect maybe some important file has been tampered by someone. need some
clue here how to further investigate. by the way this system cam be ping but
cannot been telnet to.

running on solaris 9. waiting for your input.TIA
