LiveUpgrade cannot use slice 2

Hi,

I am currently working on an upgrade to our product that is bit complicated
so I will give a little bit of background before I delve into my question.

What we have is a RAID based system that is running at RAID5 (each V120
Netra has two physical disks associated with it), they also have an internal
drive.

In subsequent installs all of the RAID slices and capacity was used.
However, we now want to repartition the RAID. The way that we are hoping to
do this is by the following procedure:

+ first clone to the internal drive using LiveUpgrade
+ boot to the internal drive
+ repartition the RAID drives
+ clone back to the new RAID partitions

We intend to use 8 of the partitions on the RAID disks. We have 16
available. So we basically we would like to use all of one of the attached
RAID disks. This makes future upgrades simpler.

The clone to the internal works fine. However, cloning back to the RAID
fails because LiveUpgrade ignores slice 2. It gives the following error:

/dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s7: 5120000 sectors in 2500 cylinders of 64 tracks, 32
sectors

luconfig: ERROR: Template filesystem definition failed for /var..
ERROR: Configuration of BE failed.
+ [ 2 -ne 0 ]
+ echo ERROR: Cannot perform clone to the RAID disk.
ERROR: Cannot perform clone to the RAID disk.

When I run ludevices I get the following detail which indicates that slice 2
is being ignored. Is there anyway to override this functionality? Surely.
