XVR-100 & V240

 Hi There,

I have installed a XVR-100 graphics card into a V240 (version 8) and are
struggling to get a terminal login. The display looks like we have ramped up
the resolution too high. The V240 has the latest Recommended Patch Cluster
(Dec 03) and the packages for the graphics card have been installed.
Changing resolution has had no effect. When we change the output-device to
screen and input-device to keyboard at the boot prompt and do a reset-all,
we can use the screen and keyboard as the console. Changing it back and we
get the original problem. I've scoured the google groups and sun manager's
archives with no success.
The results of "fbconfig -dev pfb0 -propt" yields the following

# fbconfig -dev pfb0 -propt

--- OpenWindows Configuration for /dev/fbs/pfb0 ---

OWconfig: machine
Video Mode: SUNW_STD_1280x1024x76
Depth: 24

Screen Information:
        Doublewide: Disable
        Doublehigh: Disable
        Offset/Overlap: [0, 0]
        Output Configuration: Direct
        Fake8 Rendering: Disable

As I can verify the card works when setting it as console, I figure it's
going to be something simple. I appreciate any advice offered.

Thank you kindly

Rick Pratt
