Hi All ,
I have a problem in one of my clients system
, Its a
SunOS XL011M297E 5.7 Generic sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
Machine . The system has ample amount of disk space
and Memory , but when I try to open
certain files which are of large size viz ., files
with sizes
-rw-r--r-- 1 isos staff 2022159
-rw-r--r-- 1 isos staff 27035546
-rw-r--r-- 1 isos staff 12666872
-rw-r--r-- 1 isos staff 34009584
-rw-r--r-- 1 isos staff 110633
I get the below error message and I am not able to
open the file completely and read it ,
also the file mentioned in /var/tmp is also not
available .

Kindly help & suggest as whether this could be because
of the large sizes of the file and
how this can be overcome .
