Hello all, I have Solaris 8 boxes running apache and iplanet webservers, I
have DNS off so that IP's and not resolved in my logs. Is there any way to
have DHCP IP addresses resolved automatically using WINS server? Is there
any easy way of doing this? Problem with WINS and DHCP is that IP can be
used by multiple people throughout the day while in webserver logs it would
show as 1 IP, or one person could have multiple IP's and he would be shown
as multiple users if I do run a script to use nmblookup at the end of the
day to go over all the logs to replace IP's. Is there any way to build in
WINS resolution into iplanet that resolution could be done similar as it is
done with DNS
