Hi Sunmanagers :
I am doing a fresh install of Solaris 9 from May 2002 Softwaer CDs ,
soon after it starts to install the contents of Software CD 2 of 2 it
fails , see detailed error message later. I have tried the install using
two different sets of install media , since at first I suspected the media
was faulty , however since it has failed on both media , with the same error
but when installing different packages , it looks like this is not the problem.
I am installing onto a Sun Fire 280R , I set / file-system to be 25GB large on
c0t0d0s0 , and swap to be 8GB large.
Here is an excerpt from the log file in /var/sadm/install/logs/Solaris_9_packages_part_2_install....
