Hi. Managers
We are using Sybase RDBNS with 12GB shared memory configrued. OS is
Solaris 7 106541-24.
Shared memory setting in the /etc/system file looks like this
* shared memory set
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax=13631488000
set shmsys:shminfo_shmseg=100
Question:
If I decrease the setting of shared memory used by Sybase in DBMS engine
should I also modify /etc/system file with decreased shm value?
Thanks in advance! I will summurize.
