I've Googled and looked over doc.sun.com and so far have not found an answer
to this, any help would be appreciated:
I have a Solaris 9 x86 client requesting an IP via DHCP and it comes up with
the hostname "unknown". As well the Network Admin here tells me I also need
to configure Solaris 9 so it can update the Windows 2000 DNS as they are no
longer using static DNS entries here.
What is the proper way to set the hostname of my client?
Has anyone been successful in getting Windows DNS to update from a Solaris 9
client and how is this done?
