Hi Managers,
anybody has input on which PCI HBA's are best for connecting SUN
(V480,880,1280, Solaris 8 or 9) to EMC Sym? This is a generic question as
EMC supports certain Emulex, JNI, QLOGIC and even SUN cards (which i have
looked up myself in the EMC support matrix). Up to now SUN has delivered
Emulex cards (LP9002) for this account by default but i wonder if JNI or
QLOGIC were not the better choice if they used the ssd/leadville driver
which should have more options in a san environment? Any thoughts?
