problems with sar

Hi ,

We want to collect some data from a system via sar. sar was not installed,
so I installed package SUNWaccu.
I performed all actions to get sar collecting data, and everything seemed
to work fine, but after a few hours,
the sar data file went corrupt. It looks like this :

$ sar

sar: data file corrupt; specified sizeexceeds actual
Error 0

As you can see, the timestamps are getting erratic in the end, and then it
just tells that the data file is corrupt.
Same happens next day, when a new datafile is generated. It runs for a few
hours, then it corrupts.
I installed patch 110941-03, but that didn't solve the problem.

The system is running on Solaris 8 with the latest recommended patch
cluster installed.

I checked the net and the sunmanagers archives, but without a result.
So, all hints and tips are welcome to solve this problem.

I will summarize.

Kind regards,
