metastat output listing incomplete or says No such file or direct ory

I am having a problem on an Enterprise 4500 with a StoreEdge A5200 disk
expansion unit. The version of Solaris is 5.9 Generic_112233-06.

The output of metastat was working fine prior to using metareplace on a few
partitions that had failed over to hot spares after a server crash. I now
have two issues related to the output displayed by the metastat command.
Note that the graphical interface of smc does not seem to suffer from this,
only the command line.

Example 1 shows a metadevice (d2) that displays all the components exactly
as I would expect but the Device Relocation Information section is empty. It
did used to display the proper data.

Example 2 is different (d0). Note that it does not display all of the
components that make up the device (I have included the line from a metastat
-p of this same device to show the components). It also does not display any
of the headers for the Device Relocation Information section, and displays a
message that a file or directory was not found. Note that if I do a simple
metastat without specifying the device then all devices are listed but the
"No such file or directory" message comes after everything else, not
directly after the listing for d0.

Everything seems to be functioning properly on this server, and as I
mentioned earlier if I look at d0 through smc it shows all the components of
d0 with a status of ok.

Example 3 shows the output of the metadevadm -u command on various
components of d0, the one that does not list all the components. Note that
if I ask about a component early in the list it gives what appears to be
valid output, if I ask for one of the components that was not displayed it
gives valid output. But if I ask about the last component it listed it gives
an error message "metastat: server111: No such file or directory".

Any help would be appreciated and I will post a summary if a solution is
uncovered.
