Hi all, i have a solaris 9/sparc machine which was configured to use the
  blowfish algorithm.
Our root password has more than 8 chars, and when i boot the machine to
single user i can't log in. Whatever i type, it never accepts.. I know
for sure that the root password is okay, and i don't have any problem
loggin in with ssh.

So i had a real hard time the other day, the kernel panic'ed and i
needed to fsck a hard drive, but wasn't able to get to a prompt..

Have i forgot to configure anything?
Is this a common problem?

Will summarize. Any help is welcome..
Cheers
