What's a GOOD, SIMPLE, and CHEAP way to implement a
Logical Host name without the $$$ and complexity of Sun Cluster?
Basically I have two machines, (separate Server Rooms, separate
Switch-infrastructures,...) each capable of acting as my SAProuter.
When one fails or isn't accessible I'd like the other to take over a
pre-defined IP address (saprouter.mycompany.de).
I could write my own scripts but I'm sure somebody has already done
this or has some experiences they could share.
Best Regards,
