I'm hoping someone can help me out with this one. I had a disk go bad
in my Solaris system, which had soft paritions on it, created by Solaris
Volume Manager. I am trying to remove these soft partitions, but when I
try doing so, I encounter the following error:
# metaclear d22
metaclear: tsunami: d22: error opening device under soft partition
a metastat d22 shows the following:
d22: Soft Partition
Device: c1d1s0
State: Deleting
Size: 209715200 blocks (100 GB)
Device Start Block Dbase Reloc
c1d1s0 8064 No Yes
Extent Start Block Block count
0 8065 209715200
Device Relocation Information:
Device Reloc Device ID
It shows some bogus status that its deleting, but it has been like that
for quite a while.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
---Andy
