Hello Managers:
Does anyone has any idea how to repair an IDE drive on a V-100 with a bad
block
running Solaris 8?
The format command will not help. However I just notice Solaris 9 has a
command
called "addbadsec" which is suppose to fix bad blocks on IDE Drive but I'm
not using
Solaris 9. Solaris 8 has only the man pages for this command but I could not
find
the command itself.
Any idea on how to fix bad block on IDE Drives under Solaris?
Do I need any special tool which could be downloaded from the Internet?
