Hi - wonder if someone could help with the following error message I receive
when I try to run the "prtfru" command on a SunFire V880, Solaris 8,
108528-14.
pkginfo |grep -i fru
system SUNWfruid FRU ID Utility and Library (Usr)
system SUNWfruip FRU ID Platform Modules (Usr)
system SUNWfruix FRU ID Library (64-bit)
I get:
bash-2.03# prtfru
Error opening FRU ID data source: Feature not Supported
I have several other V880's all with the same OS level, patch level or higher.
And the prtfru command works fine.
Any help / advice would be appreciated.
