determining UDP input queue size

Hello managers

I'm troubleshooting a server app that listens on a certain (unprivileged)
UDP port. I'm suspecting some sort of contention is taking place at the app
level and would like to check if there are packets remaining to be processed
in the network input buffer for that particular port.

IIRC, I was able once to see that value directly from netstat output in some
other Unix (Tru64 perhaps), but now I cannot manage to find the right switch
in Solaris 8 netstat. Anybody more knowledgeable than me maybe?

thanks in advance
cl.
