Dear All,
On our sun machine, it has two network adaptors, one is normal Ethernet
card, and another is PCI-based gigabit fiber adapter. And we want to
configure them on the Solaris9 installation.
For hme0, we want to have hostname.hme0 be like myhost.hme0, and for
ge0, want the hostname.ge0 be myhost.hme0, and we would like that the
nodename be myhost.
But on Solaris 9 initial installation or reconfigure, it only asks me to
choose one primary interface and configure it. And I have to manually
configure another one after installation.
My question is, is it the normal case for the two network installation??
That means I have to go to steps of manual configure another network
card and put scripts in the startup. Where should I put for the most
professional?
