Sun V100 oracle client

Hello,

I need to install Oracle 9i r2 client and OCI on this web server. I set
up an SSH tunnel, I can run any X windows app I want but when I start
the universal installer, I get the Oracle splash screen, then I get a
crash (exception outside VM). This is a V100 with 1GB of ram, running
Solaris 9 8/03. Any suggestions? Kernel setting?
