Hi All;
I have a couple of systems running Sun Cluster 3.0 which point back to a pair
of A1000's for storage. As we're running out of room we are looking at
migrating this setup to a SAN.
Would I have to fully reinstall Sun Cluster / SDS to implement the new SAN ?
I'm concerned about such things as quorum devices, metaset databases, etc.
Would this potentially invlove the complete removal of the software and a
reinstallation of both pieces after the SAN was in place ? Are there cavaets
to SAN selection ? Potentially looking at a 6320, an EMC device or a NetApp.
There's also a chance here that we might decide to switch to the veritas line.
I'd prefer to know the scope of work prior to drowning =:o
Thanks,
Drew.
