missing pkginfo file - rebuild possible?

We've found ourselves missing the file /var/sadm/pkg/SUNWcsr/pkginfo - patch 106429 does NOT like that. It's not on backup, and appears to have never existed.

Sun says 'reload SUNWcsr' - which means reloading the OS. Looking at the pkginfo on a few other machiens (with matching OS rev), it appears it's 'possible' to rebuild the file by hand.

Anyone ever done this? Or is this a dead-end issue, requireing reloading the OS?
