Hi all

I have a fresh install Solaris 2.8. However I have not been abel to get the
network setup going for some reason. I have an Intel card, it is probed and
detected during boot. I have a good link light at the card, but the network doesn't seem to work. The machine IP is 192.168.10.202/20, ping to 192.168.10.13/20 doesn't seem to work.

I run tcpdump on 192.168.10.13, I can see the arp broadcast:

16:10:10.601495 arp who-has 192.168.10.13 (ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff) tell 192.168.10.202
16:10:10.601518 arp reply 192.168.10.13 is-at 0:e0:4c:50:3:d8

for some reason this arp reply doesn't get through to the machine. I have a
standard install, I am not aware if I am running any packet filtering /
firewall as such.

Would anyone be able to share a light on this pls? Thanks in advance

Christian.
