WE have a sunfire v100 that for whatever reason became unresponsive on the
ethernet port. So i tried to access the machine via the LOM port w/ a
console cable rollover. when connecting to the LOM port i get
nothing..just a blinking curser. I manually reset the box ..and i get all
the post messages but when it finally gets to the
login prompt .. im still unable to type anything in the console. I know
the console cable is good because i connect to routers all the time with
it..
I never get a "ok" prompt ...and i have tried to get it to boot from cdrom
by hopefully doing at the "ok" prompt
ok boot cdrom -s
but it doesnt even get to that point i see a login prompt thats it .. i
cant login
any thoughts ??
