Hi,
Has anyone here ever attempted to repair a broken SunPCi?
We have a faulty SunPCi IIpro card, not covered by any maintenance.
The cpu cooler fan is making a lot of noise, and with the card plugged
in the workstation won't boot (as in: workstation plus SunPCi combo is
working, then shutdown to investigate fan noise. Subsequent power-up
fails).
To me, this looks like a thermal problem, and it might be worth just
replacing the cooler unit. Has anyone tried this, or knows where they
can be sourced (UK/Europe)?
