E10k SSP Upgrades

Hello Sun Managers,

I have an E10K, managed by two SSP's currently at SSP 3.2 and Solaris 7.

I'm looking to upgrade these SSP's to Solaris 8, and SSP 3.5.

I was going to start with the redundant SSP. Solaris reinstall and SSP
install, then after ensuring that the correct running config was copied
across to the upgraded SSP. Fail over. Then proceed to reinstall the OS
and SSP software to the now failed SSP.

Domains on this E10K are in a cluster config with a second E10K, so if
domains had to be reset it could be done, I would like however to avoid
this. I have been told that this upgrade process should be able to
complete without disturbing the running domains.

Have any Sun Managers been through this procedure before, and have any
tips or gottcha's?

Regards,

Bret
