Hi Managers,

you will find at http://jfenal.free.fr/Solaris/ a Perl script that can
analyse an SDS config and explain it in (mostly, some in french) english.

I don't know if Perl is evil as someone said to me, but it was the only
way to manage the SDS config with accuracy (eg. Perl would tell you if a
data structure is uninitialised, ksh wouldn't). This script only uses
Data::Dumper for debugging purpose.

This script manages and reports soft-partitions, as well as free space
on soft-partitions containers, and on disks.

For the ksh savvy and willing guy, I have an old version of this script
in ksh.

Patches, comments, documentation, metastat -p and prtvtoc samples, and
so on are welcome.
Licence beeing 'make what you want with it, but never come to blame me
if you destroyed your disk and data' (yes you can do that with it).

Regards, and HTH some one as it helps me.

Jirtme
