This is probably a general SNMP question - I apologise in advance If I
have sent it in error to this group.
I am trying to snmpwalk my solaris box. I have used the net-snmp
utilities reasonably extensively, but one question evades me.
I am trying to walk a mib entry found in RFC 1514. Take a look at
http://www.supervise-network.fr/en/ProductMIB2WEB.html# for a wonderful
online SNMP MIB browser.
When I walk the value .1.3.6.1.2.1.25 I get no response as if the OID
doesn't exist! The OID .1.3.6.1.2.1 does return a mib tree!
Do I need to install the mib before I can use it, so I can walk OID
values beyond .25 (in this case)!?
Thanks
Andy
