I am having trouble with tipping out of my sun blade 150.
Frankly, I am not sure I even know how to ask the right question concerning
this. I am tipping out of the db9 port (the only serial available) and I
will include my entries in /etc/remote below. In this example, I am tipping
into the db25 of an ultra5, but this misbehavior includes other diverse
systems. I am using a rj-45 roll-over cable, db25 "modem" adapter and db9
"terminal" adapter taken from a cisco box and has worked quite fine with
other systems. I have found this misbehavior occurs for many term settings
(xterm, vt100, sun, etc.) and terminals (dtterm, xterm, console). And now
(finally) the misbehavior: when using `tip hardwire2` the terminal always
seems to be lagging behind by ten characters. If I was typing in a sequence
of "abcdefghijk..." the "a" wouldn't appear on the screen until after I had
typed in "j". Ten characters may not be a rule as carriage returns don't
seem to follow this rule.
Has anyone else experienced a similar misbehavior tipping out of a sun
blade? Has anyone else encountered this issue and solved this problem
