Hello,
I had my last memory parity error on Jun 21.
Now on Oct 2 I had a second errro but in a different memory module.
For the first time I See the world "Intermittent".
What does it mean exactly ?
I own this Ultra 60 since 1 year and 6 months.
After upgrading from 360MHz to 450MHz I Started to notice errors 3 times
in 9 months.
from Feb 2003 to October 2003 I got 3 errors.
on 21 Feb 2003 I got a ecache error then this error never came out
anymore, so I thought it was not something critical.
Then on June and now on October I got 2 memory parity errors.
Since the RAM modules are different I guess that all my RAM modules are
bad or it's just a chance that I got 2 ram parity errors errors in 4
months.
Anyway before, when I had 360MHz CPUs I never got memory parity
errors. Do you think CPUs could be related to these errors?
for these memory parity errors the score I have is "05"
AFSR.PSYND 0x0000(Score 05)
Someone told me that with this score I should not be worried... is this
true?
