StoreEdge 3310 Array LUN Problems

Server: Sun V880
OS: Solaris 9
Array: 3310
Patches: Up to date including 112706-03

I am setting up a Sun 3310 Array and while the
establishment of logical drives and associated
partitions is straightforward I am encountering difficulties
having more than one logical partition being recognized by
my server. So I have created a RAID5 logical drive and
have created two partitions 0 and 1 and mapped them to
LUNs.

The first one is like this (from the array configuration software):

Map Logical Drive: 0
        Partition: 0
To Channel: 1
        ID: 0
        LUN: 0

The second one is like this:

Map Logical Drive: 0
        Partition: 1
To Channel: 1
        ID: 0
        LUN: 1

So I have added entries to /kernel/drv/sd.conf like this:

# To get more LUNs for 3310 array
name="sd" class="scsi"
        target=4 lun=1;

name="sd" class="scsi"
        target=4 lun=2;

name="sd" class="scsi"
        target=4 lun=3;
---------------------

So I reset the array controller do "update_drv -f sd" and "devfsadm"
and when I do format I see only the entry for the first logical
partition. I'm expecting to see a c4t2d0 also.

  6. c4t0d0 <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 44281 alt 2 hd 127 sec 127>
                        /pci@9,600000/pci@1/scsi@5/sd@0,0

Anyway format gets the size of the partition correct but I'
m expecting to see another entry for the second partition also.
Now on the array I can make just one partition using the whole
logical drive but I don't really want to do that. I've also power
cycled a couple of times but its the same thing. Does anyone have
any suggestions ?

Thanks
