Hello
I have C program, that uses PAM library to authenticate user. It works
perfectly when launched by root. But it is not working when launched from not
root account . Is it possible to use pam_unix.so.1 and pam_krb5.so.1 with
program, that runs as not root ? I am getting these messages in syslog file
when launched from different from root account :
Oct 17 17:56:49 local pam[15732]: [ID 888916 user.debug] unix
pam_sm_authenticate(test testuser), flags = 80000000
Oct 17 17:56:49 local pam[15732]: [ID 427203 user.debug] pam_authenticate:
error Authentication failed
(here test is service name in pam.conf, testuser - user to be authenticated).
