hi you all,
i need my system to be running today...
i got some intrussion through an sshd backdoor, i was installing again sshd
i installed the packages:
zlib, perl, egd, prngd, openssl, openssh
when i try to run sshd i get the message:
PRNGD not seeded
i followed the instructions to give a initial seed to prngd and then star to
get more and more enthropy with egd, but still get the same same result...
now, when i try to check the egd installation, through the egd.pl perl script,
i get an error, it says it can not fin the SAH.pm file (which comes with egd
itself)
i deleted all the packages and i'm starting to install them alla gain, one by
one and carefully, i bet the recomended order is as above:
zlib, perl, egd, prngd, openssl, openssh
after egd i'll check if it works fine before i go on, and after prngd,
initializing the seed and the daemon before i go on...
but does anyone have some hints about what could be failing in my first
attempt? i must be doing something wrong again and then i may find the same
problem at the end...
