OK, maybe I explained it wrong.
What I want to do is to boot a few machines (Linux machines) using a Linux
boot server but instructing the machines from my Solaris 9 DHCP server.

I couldn't find information on google, or sundocs for this. Anybody did
this?

Thanks.-

Pablo.-

->
->What you're trying to do is a bit complex.
->
->The normal default for DHCP is to set up macros for a single
->boot/install server. Then all clients reference that macro.
->
->You want to create a second one (or maybe just modify this one).
->
->The macro should be in the dhcptab. Here are some values
->that it uses..
->
->To enable jumpclient in the DHCP server,
->add an entry to the server with the following data:
->
-> Install server (SinstNM) : jumpserver
-> Install server IP (SinstIP4) : 172.20.4.133
-> Install server path (SinstPTH) : /jumpstart/Solaris8_0202
-> Root server name (SrootNM) : jumpserver
-> Root server IP (SrootIP4) : 172.20.4.133
-> Root server path (SrootPTH) :
->/jumpstart/Solaris8_0202/Solaris_8/Tools/Boot
->
->So you're wanting to change the root server IP/path.
->
->I don't see a lot of documents for doing what you're asking,
->and I haven't attempted it myself.
->
->This is the infodoc for a general DHCP jumpstart setup.
->Presumably you just need to identify the macro you're using
->and modify it with dhtadm.
