upgrade to Solaris 9

I'm trying to upgrade my solaris 8 box to solaris 9.
I boot of the cd and and I come to this page called "Change Auto-layout Constraints"

I have / that needs 4mb to continue, and /usr needs 134 mb to continue.

I have one partion that has 500 mb that I dont need, but I'm unable to get the install to see the free space. I made all the filesystems changeable/moveable, but I cant get the install to let me use the free space on /, and /usr??? This is all on one disk c0t0d0...

Any Ideas?? Thanks
