Informational level messages in /var/adm/messages

Dear Sun Admins,

Some of the newly installed systems started to show plenty of annoying
messages in their /var/adm/messages.

They look like below and repeat every minute for all disks in the system,
except the LUN's coming from a Hitachi array.

The systems are various architectures (E10K domain to E420R) but all run
Solaris 8 with a recent patch cluster and all have Veritas Foundation Suite
3.5.

Also all have JNI cards (FCE-1473 for the SBUS and FCE 6460 for PCI systems)
running driver version 5.3.0.1 connected via Brocade 3800 switches to a
Hitachi 9860.

Besides those warnings the systems seem to run perfect.

I suspected some interaction between VxDMP and sd driver for internal disks
but even with DMP disabled I still get the messages. Or maybe kernel disk
polling ?

Any idea what could be the cause ?
