using ftp to get uncompressed file in windows from compressed file in unix without uncompressing

hi all.....
 
I want to bring a compressed oracle full export database file(ie named DATABASE.DMP.Z )from solaris 2.6 to windows NT 4 .
The above file is acutally located on /ORADBF/ORA_ARCH.
I do not have enough memory to uncompress the file on the /ORADBF file system.
 
what is the ftp command to bring the compressed file
to the windows NT in uncompressed format with binary mode.
 
how can i use the pipe technology for the above.
