Hi,

I have configured Solaris 7 as NIS server and succefully added
Solaris machines as NIS clients to it.
But i'm not abble to add Linux machine as clients :((
ypbind is running and nisdomainname is set.ypwhich also sucefully
return the NIS server name.
But when i try to use yppasswd from linux clients i'm getting this
error:

Changing NIS account information for dilipm on ns.india.com.
Please enter old password:
Changing NIS password for dilipm on ns.india.com.
Please enter new password:
Please retype new password:
Error while changing the NIS password.
The NIS password has not been changed on ns.india.com

What i need to change in linux side or solaris side ?

Thanks
-Dilip
