Hello,
I have begun seeing the following entries in
/var/adm/messages at an alarming rate:

Oct 8 00:03:17 UDBH Syndrome 0x80 Memory Module
U0704
Oct 8 00:03:17 unix: [ID 596940 kern.warning]
WARNING: [AFT0] 48343 soft errors in less than 24:00
(hh:mm) detected from Memory Module U0707

Oct 8 00:03:17 SUNW,UltraSPARC-II: [ID 612525
kern.info] [AFT0] errID 0x0008abc4.a3aaaacc ECC Check
Bit 7 was in error and corrected

Oct 8 00:03:17 SUNW,UltraSPARC-II: [ID 365306
kern.info] [AFT0] errID 0x0008abc4.a5e356ac Corrected
Memory Error on U0704 is Persistent

It is my general understanding that there is a kernel
thread called the scrubber which goes out every 12
hours and write 0's to unallocate memory. Is this
correct?

There are two types of status for these errors
1)persistent and 2)sticky ? What is the difference?

Are these harmless errors that simply reflect my new
level of logging in /etc/syslog.conf (kern.debug
/var/adm/message)

Is this a situation in which I want to reseat my
memory or is indicative of my memory module being
hosed?

Thank you in advance.
