Oracle Parallel server - Sun cluster 3.0 question !

Hello Experts,

We are running sun cluster 3.0 (solaris 8) and oracle parallel server 8.1.
The setup is - 2 sun boxes - one instance on each node - instance A and
Instance B sharing a common disk/database (sitting on a shared EMC Disk). This
is the SUN's standard setup. Assuming we call the above setup as TEST

Now comes the question. Is is possible at all to add one more oracle database
(call it TEST 2) (on another separate EMC disk - shared between the 2 sun
boxes) and also 2 instances (one on each node). At any point of time we need
only one DB to be up and the 2 instances talking to the DB. When we need the
other DB we will shut both instances and the DB and start the TEST 2 DB and the
related 2 instances.

Has anybody done this before (I understand this is possible in a veritas
cluster).

Thanks, NR
