EMC Storage attached to Solaris 9 on SF12k

Greetings,

I've been trying to get our SAN vendor to help sort out these errors
that occur after attaching the FCAL cards on our SF12k to the EMC 8430
but so far I've go no response from them. Hopefully someone on this list
can provide me with a response.

Config:

- Domain on a Sun Fire 12000 patched 2 months ago with 9_Recommended.zip
running Veritas VxVM and VxFS 3.5
- Emulex FCAL cards
- brand spanking new SF12000

After configuring /kernel/drv/sd.conf and /kernel/drv/lpfc.conf we get
the following errors after reboot:

>From what I heard this is the "gatekeeper device" - a readonly device on
EMC that is needed only for the configuration portion of the connection
the SAN using WideSky.
