DDS-3 Tape errors

Good Afternoon,
I have done a search in yahoo and Sun Managers and I can't seem to
find an answer to this error. Just a quick background. Last year I had a
Seagate Tpae library go bad on me. I had the unit replaced and the one
we have now is still working. The problem I currently have is, I need to
read some data from some old DDS-3 tapes we have from last year.
Whenever I try to read any of these tapes I get the error below. The
tape library is suppose to be backwards compatible. I am assuming the
tapes that were written are no good, but if someone has any ideas to try
something, I am open for help. Will summarize if anything if found.
