Hi,

I recd a fewe replies stating that this is a bug and to get rid
of
the same , I need to compile my Local time zone. I did the same,
but the problem is not resolve.
This is how my Timezone or /etc/default/init file looks now

TZ=IST
CMASK=022
LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_NUMERIC=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_TIME=en_US.ISO8859-

Date shows " Mon Sep 29 10:42:02 IST 2003 "

date -u shows " Mon Sep 29 10:42:17 GMT 2003 "

Is there some thing wrong with this ? What do I do now to
address
this issue.

Regards

Subject: Sendmail Timestamp Problem

Hi,

I am running Solaris 8 with Sendmail configured.The problem I am
facing is that for the mail generated via Sendmail, the
timestamp
on mail is 10hrs ahead of the system time.I am not able to
figure
out the cause.

Contents of Timezone file are

TZ=GMT+5
CMASK=022
LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_NUMERIC=en_US.ISO8859-15
LC_TIME=en_US.ISO8859-

Regards
