Hello,
I have a new SunFire V210, with an internal DVDrom reader.
I Can't install Solaris 9 (12/02) version from the DVD distribution.
Under the Ok> prompt, I type boot cdrom
The boot process starts normally, finding the boot device
Then I receie the following messages :
boot: cannot open kernel/sparcv9/unix
Enter filename [kernel/sparcv9/unix]:
Does it mean that SunFire V210 is not supported by this Solaris9 version
(12/02) ?
I have the same problem if I replace the Solaris9 DVDrom by a Solaris9
CDrom.
I am connected to the V210 from another Sun server cia a serial link and
the tip command.
Thanks for any help
