Sun e3500 Length of Fiber Channel Cable

Hi All,

        I recently acquired a used e3500 and it didn't have a 2-meter SC/SC
duplex fiber cable for the internal fc-al drives. The GBIC's that it
came with are IBM 21H9870.

1) I was able to find a 15-meter SC/SC duplex cable (Sun Part#
537-1006) and am wondering if it would suffice for hooking up the IB
to IO Board for the internal lower disks bank (0,1,2,3) to work. I'm
kindda desperate right now and hoping it'll work. Sun's website
mentions "Use a 2-meter cable to ensure that the 1.0 inch minimum bend
radius rule for fiber optic cables is observed."

2) Do I need an additional pair of GBIC's and a fiber cable to hook up
the upper disk bank (drives 4,5,6,7) of the machine?

Please help! Send email and I will summarize to the list.

Kind Regards,

-Kevin
