Hello,
I need some ammunition against a request to build out new systems using
only one partition on the root drive. The argument given is that
upgrades are failing on undersized partitions. My arguments in favor of
multiple partitions include issues such as security, fragmentation, hard
links, space-consumption containment, backups, recovery, etc...
I need some white papers or "best practices" on the subject.
TIA!
~kevin
