Hi,

The bash binary on on my solaris box is located in /bin/bash. On my solaris8
the path is set to /usr/local/bin/bash for user "root". Hardware is Ultra-2.
When I try to su as root it gives me an error "No Shell".

The following line is my passwd
entry:

    R&D$ cat /etc/passwd
    root:x:0:1:Super-User:/root:/usr/local/bin/bash

Many kind men suggest me to use the following command
to get a shell and then modify /etc/passwd:

    R&D$ su - root -c /bin/sh
    Password:
    su: No shell
    R&D$

It seems not work.
