Got some issues when trying to configure multipathing with JNI HBAs (FCE
6460) under Sun Volume Manager in Solaris 9 to access backend XP512 (aka
HDS9600) storage system. The server is able to see a four disk set from
two different channel through different HBA. However no luck to get the
mutipathing features configured. Talked to Sun support engineers, they
said mutipathing is not supported with my existing hardware and
software. Has anyone out there had any ideas/experience with this?
Greatly appreciate for any help/feedback.
Veritas File System/Volume Manager works just fine.
