using AD/LDAP with SSL

I have a SunFire 280R running Solaris 8. We have configured the machine to
get login in formation from Active Directory/LDAP. We installed the
pan_ldap and nss_ldap libraries from PADL. This took awhile to figure out
how to setup, but works OK now.

What were trying to do now is use SSL connections. A certificate has been
added to the Active Directory/LDAP server. I' not sure what to do on the
Solaris (client) end. We've tried modifying the ldap.conf file (ssl on),
but cannot successfully connect to LDAP using SSL (port 636).

Any suggestions?
